Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnipro, repel Russian attacks near Bakhmut, and strike the enemy's radio-electronic warfare station, according to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian attacks

The situation in the eastern and southern parts of Ukraine remains challenging. Over the past day, there were 56 instances of combat clashes.

The enemy conducted 3 missile strikes and 39 aerial attacks, along with 27 shelling episodes using rocket artillery systems targeting our troops' positions and civilian areas. Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine using 14 UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type, with 12 enemy drones being destroyed.

Unfortunately, there are civilian casualties as a result of Russian terrorist attacks. Private residential homes and other civilian infrastructure have suffered destruction and damage.

The situation on the fronts

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the operational situation remains unchanged, with no significant changes observed. There are no signs of the formation of offensive groupings. Identified units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are performing tasks in border areas with Ukraine.

On the Siversk and Slobozhanske fronts, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, fires on populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.

Approximately 25 populated areas, including Klusy and Mikhaylivka-Sloboda in the Chernihiv region; Fotovyzh, Vovkivka, Volfyne, Yastrubyne, Basivka, and Mogrytsia in the Sumy region; Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Lyptsi, Starytsia, Okhrimivka in the Kharkiv region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy.

On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 5 enemy attacks in the area of Synkivka in the Kharkiv region. The enemy conducted an airstrike in the Petropavlivka area of Kharkiv region.

About 10 populated areas, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region, came under artillery and mortar fire from Russian invaders.

On the Lyman front, Defense Forces repelled all enemy attacks attempting to displace Ukrainian units from the held positions near Terny in the Donetsk region. Additionally, the enemy conducted an airstrike in the Serebroanske forestry area in the Luhansk region.

Approximately 15 populated areas, including Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Bakhmut front, Defense Forces repelled 19 enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka, Ivanivka, Klyshchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.

About 10 populated areas, including Markove, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Klyshchiivka, Andriivka, and New York in the Donetsk region, were under artillery and mortar fire.

On the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 enemy attacks in the areas east of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Tonenke, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region. The enemy, supported by aviation, unsuccessfully attempted to breach the defense of Ukrainian forces.

Over 10 populated areas, including Berdychiv, Stepove, Avdiivka, Tonenke, Karlivka, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Maryinka front, Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by aviation, carried out 5 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders.

Populated areas under artillery and mortar fire from occupiers include Hostre, Heorhiivka, Mariinka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka, and Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarsk front, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations. About 10 populated areas, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Staromaiorske, Urozhaine, and Zelene Pole in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, Defense Forces repelled 6 enemy attacks in the areas west of Verbove and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy also conducted an airstrike in the area of Kopani in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Over 20 populated areas, including Levadne, Malynivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Charivne, Novoandriivka, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Kherson front, the following populated areas were subjected to enemy artillery shelling: Shliakhove, Vesele, Mykolaivka, Tiahynka, the city of Kherson, and Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region.

Advancement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region. They persist in delivering effective fire on the positions of the Russian occupiers.

Enemy losses

During the past day, the defense forces' aviation conducted 5 strikes on the areas with concentrations of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment of the enemy.

Units of the missile forces inflicted damage to the radio electronic warfare station of the Russian invaders.

It is worth noting that the total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is reported to be 336,230 military personnel.
