Russia's losses in Ukraine as of December 7: 1120 troops and 18 tanks
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Thursday morning, December 7, amounted to 1,120 occupiers, bringing the total casualties of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion to 336,230 military personnel. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 18 Russian tanks, 26 armored vehicles, and 21 artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to December 7, 2023 are estimated as follows:

- Armored personnel vehicles (APV): 10,482 (+26) units
- Artillery systems: 8,045 (+21) units
- Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 919 units

- UAV operational-tactical level: 6,116 (+33) units
- Cruise missiles: 1,571 (+1) unit
- Warships/boats: 22 units
- Submarines: 1 unit
- Vehicles and fuel tanks: 10,561 (+29) units
- Special equipment: 1,156 (+3) units
Frontline situation
According to the General Staff, Ukrainian forces repelled 34 enemy attacks on the Avdiivka front and continue assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. Missile troops also targeted and hit an enemy helicopter.
Additionally, according to the Institute for the Study of War report, Ukrainian forces advanced near Stepove in the Donetsk region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also continued counteroffensive operations in the western part of the Zaporizhzhia region and conducted ground operations on the left bank of the Kherson region.
