Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 13

Ukrainian fighters continue to advance on the Melitopol and Bakhmut fronts, repelling Russian attacks near the village of Robotyne, and destroying two command points of the occupiers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling
During the day, there were 50 clashes. In total, the enemy launched 2 missiles and 32 aviation strikes, carried out 23 shelling with reactive multiple-launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have been destroyed and damaged. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population.
Frontline situation
The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains challenging.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains unchanged without significant changes. There are no signs of the formation of offensive groups.
Identified units of the Armed Forces of Belarus are performing tasks in border areas with Ukraine.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shell settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border of Ukraine.
About 15 settlements, including Tymonovychi, Leonivka in the Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Buniakyne, Mohrytsia, Hrabovske, Popivka in the Sumy region; Kozacha Lopan, Starytsia, Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted storming actions in the areas of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, where our soldiers repelled 6 attacks. The enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of the settlements of Pershotravneve and Kopanky in the Kharkiv region.
Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful storming actions in the area of Novoiehorivka in the Luhansk region. Aviation strikes were carried out in the areas of the Serebrianske forestry in the Luhansk region and Spirne, Viyivka in the Donetsk region.
Over 10 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Serebne, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy conducted storming actions in the areas of Ivanivka, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled 11 attacks.
The enemy struck aviation near Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region. Chasiv Yar, Ivanivka, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka in the Donetsk region came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful storming actions south of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Severne, and east of Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, where the Defense Forces repelled 8 attacks. Aviation strikes were carried out in the areas of Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka in the Donetsk region.
The enemy's artillery and mortar shelling affected more than 10 populated areas, including Sukha Balka, Keramik, Berdychiv, Avdiivka, Opytne, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, conducted unsuccessful assault actions in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the Defense Forces repelled 15 attacks.
Under the artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers, the settlements of Oleksandrivka, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka found themselves.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful storming actions south of Zolota Nyva in the Donetsk region. Moreover, the enemy struck aviation in the areas of the settlements of Vuhledar and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region.
Over 10 settlements, including Vodiane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blyhadne, Rivnopil in the Donetsk region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful storming actions in the area of the settlement of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region, where our defenders repelled 4 enemy attacks.
Over 10 settlements, including Poltavka, Huliapole, Huliapilske, Novodanilivka, Shcherbaky, and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy struck aviation in the areas of the settlements of Berislav and Ivanivka in the Kherson region. Beryslav, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Veletenske in the Kherson region, and the city of Kherson came under artillery fire.
Advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, conduct offensive (assault) actions in the Bakhmut direction, inflict losses on the occupation forces in personnel and equipment, and exhaust the enemy along the entire front line.
Losses of the enemy
During the day, the defense forces' aviation conducted 8 strikes on areas with concentrations of personnel, weaponry, military equipment, and 1 strike on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile system.
Missile troops inflicted damage on 6 areas with concentrations of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment, 2 command posts, 4 artillery systems, 1 air defense system, and 1 other important target of the enemy.
The total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 312,550 military personnel.
