The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their advance on the Melitopol and Bakhmut fronts. Over the past day, the enemy launched 5 missile strikes, carried out 33 airstrikes, and conducted 42 artillery barrages using rocket systems of volley fire, according to data from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have suffered destruction and damage.
Frontline situation
The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains challenging.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, there have been no significant changes in the operational situation. There are no signs of enemy offensive formations. Identified units of the Belarusian armed forces continue to perform tasks in border areas with Ukraine.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, conducts reconnaissance and subversive activities, fires at populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy launched an aerial strike in the vicinity of the village of Leonivka in the Chernihiv region. Over 20 populated areas, including Hremiach, Leonivka in the Chernihiv region, and Stepok, Hrabovske, Popivka in the Sumy region, and Pletenivka, Kozacha Lopan, Chuhunivka in the Kharkiv region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy's attempts to storm the areas of Synkivka and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region with aviation support were unsuccessful. Ukrainian defense forces repelled eight attacks. An aerial strike also hit the village of Pishchane in the Kharkiv region. Around ten populated areas, including Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Synkivka, and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, were under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian defense forces repelled all enemy attacks near Nadiia and Makiivka in the Luhansk region. The enemy launched aerial strikes in the areas of Nevske and Serebrianska Forest in the Luhansk region, as well as Siversk and Vyimka in the Donetsk region. At the same time, approximately ten populated areas, including Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Spirne, Siversk, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, were affected by artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops repelled five enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. An aerial strike targeted Diliivka in the Donetsk region. Over ten populated areas, including Markove, Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Kordiumivka, New York in the Donetsk region, were under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault actions with aviation support near Stepove, Avdiivka, Sverdlovsk, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian defense forces repelled six enemy attacks. Approximately ten populated areas, including Oleksandrivka, Keramik, Stepove, Avdiivka, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Maryinka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful storming actions with aviation support in the areas of Maryinka and Pobieda in the Donetsk region, where Ukrainian defense forces repelled about 20 enemy attacks. Around ten populated areas, including Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Maryinka, Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
On the Shakhtarsk front, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault actions with aviation support in the vicinity of Staromykhailivka. Ukrainian troops repelled all enemy attacks near Novomykhailivka, Prechystivka, south of Zolota Nyva in the Donetsk region. Over ten populated areas, including Vuhledar, Zolota Niva, Urozhaine, Blahodatne in the Donetsk region, were under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian forces repelled an enemy attack southeast of Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region. Over 20 populated areas, including Huliaypilsk, Bilohiria, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Kherson direction, the occupiers launched aerial strikes in the areas of Zmiyivka, Beryslav, Kozatske, and Mykolaivka in the Kherson region. The enemy artillery and mortar fire affected the town of Zelenivka in the Kherson region.
Advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, launching assault actions in the Bakhmut direction, inflicting losses on the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, and exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
Enemy losses
Over the past day, the aviation of the defense forces carried out 13 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weaponry, and military equipment, as well as three strikes on the enemy's air defense missile systems.
Units of the missile forces destroyed 12 artillery systems and a logistic hub of the enemy.
Frontline situation
Previously, in a report from the Institute for the Study of War, it was mentioned that, after pushing back the occupiers, the Ukrainian Armed Forces advanced south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. Additionally, Ukrainian forces moved northeast of Klishchiivka, crossing the railway, and continued their offensive actions south of Bakhmut. Ukrainian attacks forced Russian troops to abandon certain positions near Novodonetske.
