Russia transfers nuclear technology to North Korea in exchange for troops - NATO Chief
Russia transfers missile and nuclear programs to North Korea. In exchange, Russia receives soldiers from the DPRK, stated NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
According to him, the growing rapprochement between Russia, China, North Korea and Iran underscores the global nature of the threats that NATO will soon face.
"In return for troops and weapons, Russia is providing North Korea with support for its missile and nuclear programs. These developments could destabilize the Korean Peninsula and even threaten the United States," Rutte stated.
In his opinion, Russia's invasion of Ukraine threatens everyone. That is why Europe and North America, as well as other partners, must unite.
Another provocation by Russia
Earlier, we wrote that Russian President Vladimir Putin approved changes to the nuclear doctrine. According to them, Russia will be able to use nuclear weapons in response to a massive drone attack or an attack on its territory by a “non-nuclear state with the support of a nuclear state.”
In early October, it became known that soldiers from North Korea had arrived in Russia. They were sent to the Kursk region, where fighting takes place.
According to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, North Korea wants to receive technology from Russia in exchange for soldiers, including technologies in missile, nuclear and other military programs.
