Russia is currently training over 10,000 North Korean troops in the Far East, according to a source in the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to the source, the North Korean military is being prepared for deployment to the border areas near Ukraine.

Yesterday, sources told RBC-Ukraine that the Russian army is forming a special Buryat battalion based on the 11th separate airborne assault brigade, which numbers approximately 3,000 people. It is staffed by military personnel from North Korea.
