Shelling of Kherson and the region

Russian forces continue to terrorize Kherson and surrounding areas even after their retreat from the region in the fall of 2022.

Recently, the occupiers have increasingly relied on drones while also intensifying artillery and guided bomb (FAB) attacks on the regional center and de-occupied towns.

In another recent attack, a Russian strike drone hit a civilian car in the Kherson suburbs overnight, wounding two people.

On the afternoon of July 14, Russian forces targeted emergency workers responding to an earlier attack in Kherson.

In the early hours of July 13, two people were wounded in Kherson following a Russian artillery strike. On July 9, Russian troops shelled the city’s train station and wounded three more people in another neighborhood.
