The Russians shelled Kherson overnight. Two civilians were wounded, according to the Kherson Regional Military Administration on Telegram.

As noted, during the night in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson, Russian forces carried out shelling.

As a result, two local residents were injured — a 75-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the victims sustained blast injuries, as well as traumatic brain injuries and concussions.

Both patients are currently under medical supervision in a healthcare facility.

Shelling of Kherson

This is not the first time Russian forces have deliberately targeted civilian infrastructure in Kherson.

Shelling from the Russian-occupied left bank of the Dnipro River continues almost daily, despite the absence of military targets in the affected areas.

As a reminder, 12 people were injured in Kherson as a result of Russian drone strikes. All of them were hospitalized with injuries.

On May 18, Russian troops shelled Kherson’s central district, damaging the railway station.

Earlier, on May 8, Russia attacked civilian railway infrastructure in Kherson. The strikes damaged both the tracks and the city’s railway terminal.

Additionally, on April 17, Russian forces attacked an ambulance in Kherson, injuring a paramedic and the driver.
