This morning, June 17, Russian troops attacked Kherson and the surrounding area several times with drones. There are 12 wounded reported, Kherson City Military Administration reports.

"Russian troops are continuously attacking the Dniprovskyi district with drones. In the Dniprovskyi district, at about 9 a.m., Russian troops dropped explosives on a civilian car from a drone. Two people were injured - a woman and a man. Police officers took them to the hospital. Both victims were preliminarily diagnosed with mine-blast trauma. Doctors continue to examine and provide the necessary assistance," the Kherson City Military Administration says.

It is also reported that all those wounded by Russian drones were sent to hospitals.

"A 63-year-old Kherson resident was also hospitalized in moderate condition. He came under attack from an occupant's drone at about 9.40 am. The man sustained a shrapnel wound to his left shoulder, contusion, explosive and closed head injuries," the Kherson City Military Administration said.

In addition, it is reported that a 36-year-old resident of Kherson also suffered as a result of Russian drone attacks on the Dniprovskyi district. He suffered shrapnel wounds, contusions, explosive and closed head injuries.

Russian strikes on Kherson

Russian troops attack Kherson and the surrounding communities almost daily with artillery and drones. For example, on June 15, Russia injured 3 civilians. The victims were seriously injured and are in the hospital.

Also, on June 11, 2 civilians were injured in Kherson as a result of another Russian strike. As reported by the Kherson Military District Administration, at about 4 a.m. Kyiv time, Russian troops attacked the Shumenskyi district. An 85-year-old woman received an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to her arm.

In addition, on April 17, Russians attacked an ambulance in Kherson, and a medic and driver were wounded as a result of the Russian strike.
