Russia targets Kharkiv children’s railway with guided bomb: Aftermath

Russian forces hit the children's railway in Ukraine's Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs. Photos of the destruction emerged after the strike, informs Oleh Syniehubov, head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
According to Syniehubov, at around 5:35 PM Kyiv time, Russian forces launched four guided bombs at Shevchenkivskyi and Kyivskyi districts of the city.

"This is a place where many families with children usually gather. Russians deliberately strike it on a Saturday afternoon. Sadly, a 30-year-old woman was killed. Eighteen others were wounded. Three of them are in serious condition," he said.
Syniehubov added that the strike damaged:
- two buildings of the children's railway;
- four train cars;
- two private homes;
- one utility building.
"Medical teams and State Emergency Service crews are working at the scene," he noted.

"A utility building was destroyed. A fire broke out. The third strike hit a forest strip near a residential building. No fire was reported," the Interior Ministry added.
Largest attack on Kharkiv since full-scale invasion
Earlier in the day, Kharkiv suffered its most extensive attack since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, about 48 Shahed-type drones were launched at the city. The Regional Prosecutor's Office reported that over 50 drones were involved. In addition to drones, Russian forces used guided bombs and missiles.
The strike damaged 18 apartment buildings, including three that suffered severe structural damage. Thirteen private homes were also hit.
By morning, officials confirmed the deaths of three people. Among the victims were a 1.5-month-old baby and a 14-year-old girl. Another 21 people were injured.
