Russia strikes children's railway building in Kharkiv, sixteen injured victims so far

On the evening of June 7, the Russians attacked Kharkiv with two guided aerial bombs. Due to the strike, a building belonging to the children's railway was damaged, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, and Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov report.
Syniehubov clarified that the enemy attack caused damage in two districts:
- Shevchenkivskyi district: The children's railway building was reportedly damaged by shelling;
- Kyivskyi district: A private residential house was damaged by shelling.
"Emergency services and medics are working at the sites of hits," Syniehubov added.
At the same time, according to the mayor, as of 6:32 p.m., local time, there were already 10 injured in Kharkiv as a result of the Russian strike on the Shevchenkivskyi district. One person was killed.
As of 6:45 p.m., the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported that, as of now, 4 people with various degrees of injuries have been taken to the hospital.
Syniehubov also recorded a video near the children's railway building in the city center. Judging by the footage, the building had at least shattered windows and a damaged roof.
As of 7:01 p.m., Kharkiv's mayor reported that the number of injured had risen to 16.
Meanwhile, Syniehubov wrote that 8 people had been taken to hospitals. Among them is a 14-year-old boy. The Head of the Regional Military Administration also noted that three of the injured are in serious condition.
As of 7:05 p.m., the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration added that a 30-year-old woman died in Kharkiv due to enemy strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces

"Medics have hospitalized another injured person. As of this moment, the number of wounded currently in city hospitals has reached 9. Among them are three people in serious condition," reported the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
At the same time, Syniehubov and Terekhov added that the total number of injured has increased to 18.
Most powerful attack on Kharkiv
On the night of June 7, the Russians launched the most powerful attack on Kharkiv since the start of the full-scale war.
According to the mayor, the city was attacked by 48 Shahed drones, while the regional prosecutor's office mentioned over 50 UAVs. In addition, Russian forces used guided aerial bombs and missiles during the assault.
By morning, the reports indicated that the attack had damaged 18 apartment buildings (three of which had structural damage) and 13 private houses. As of 8:40 a.m., three people had been killed and another 21 injured. Among the injured were a one-and-a-half-month-old baby and a 14-year-old girl.
