Russia strikes Zaporizhzhia: Houses destroyed, six people injured
On the evening of September 24, Russian troops once again struck Zaporizhzhia. The attack destroyed homes, and six people were injured, according to the head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov.
It was reported that at 9:23 p.m. (Kyiv time), the city was under threat of enemy-guided aerial bombs. Later, at 9:32 p.m. and 9:52 p.m., explosions were heard in the city.
Fedorov later clarified that the Russian attack destroyed private homes in the Komunarskyi district of Zaporizhzhia. Additionally, six people were reported injured.
"According to preliminary information, all residents of Zaporizhzhia have been rescued. Four residents declined hospitalization, and medical assistance was provided to them on-site. Today, two residents were hospitalized in city and regional medical facilities. I am confident that the doctors will provide the necessary care," Fedorov said.
According to Fedorov, at 12:27 a.m., the number of injured had increased to seven. Among them, three were hospitalized, while four declined hospitalization.
On September 23, after 9:00 PM, Russian troops launched a series of airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attack, one person was killed and six were injured, including two children.
