Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia kills 1 person, injures 6, including 2 children
One man was killed and 6 other people were injured, including a 13-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, as a result of Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia, according to the head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
According to the SES, 4 people were injured, including 2 children.
On September 23, after 9 p.m., Russia launched a series of air strikes on the regional center for two hours.
Russia struck the private sector. Residential buildings were destroyed.
Rescuers extinguished the fire in an outbuilding, a garage, and an open area. While dealing with consequences, volunteers rescued a dog from a destroyed house and handed it over to neighbors.
In total, 67 rescuers and 13 pieces of equipment were involved.
According to Fedorov, during the day, the Russian occupiers struck 321 times at 10 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. There were 314 reports of the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure.

On September 23, late in the evening, Russians attacked Zaporizhzhia from the air. Police reported 5 wounded.
The previous Russian air attack on the city took place on September 22 at around 11 p.m. 13 high-rise buildings, educational institutions, private houses, garages, and cars were damaged. 22 people were injured, including 2 children.
