Russia strikes Zaporizhzhia, fire breaks out in administrative building

In the early hours of October 18, Russian forces targeted Zaporizhzhia in another drone attack. An administrative building was engulfed in flames as a result of the strike, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
"Russia struck Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attack, an administrative building caught fire. Emergency services are already working to contain the aftermath," the statement read.
According to regional head Ivan Fedorov, there were no reports of casualties at this time.
Russia continues regular strikes on Zaporizhzhia
Russian forces have been repeatedly targeting Zaporizhzhia in recent weeks. On the night of October 10, the city was hit by at least seven drone strikes, setting a residential building on fire and injuring several people.
Earlier, on the night of October 5, Russian troops launched a combined attack on the city, damaging residential buildings and part of an industrial site. The strikes caused multiple fires and resulted in civilian casualties.
