Over the past 24 hours, Russia has attacked oil and gas infrastructure in several regions of Ukraine. According to the Naftogaz company, the Kharkiv and Sumy regions were hit hardest.
Russia launched two strikes on a facility in the Sumy region within a few hours of each other.
"There is significant damage. Fires have broken out," the report states.
Russia is striking oil and gas infrastructure almost continuously in Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
The situation in all these regions remains difficult, according to Naftogaz.
Earlier, the Russians launched a massive attack on fuel and energy facilities that lasted more than a day, a tactical approach that has become routine for the Russians.
Russia also struck Naftogaz facilities in the Chernihiv region. That attack lasted an entire day.
