Russia attacked oil and gas infrastructure facilities in Ukraine's Chernihiv region with missiles. Before that, Russian forces spent the entire day striking these facilities with drones, Naftogaz reports.

According to the company, yesterday, on May 19, an enemy attack in the Chernihiv region lasted all day — Russian forces used drones.

In the evening, the Russian army launched a missile strike. Several company facilities came under attack at once.

"Targeted attack on Group assets has been continuing for the fourth consecutive day. Equipment was destroyed as a result of hits," the statement says.

Naftogaz clarified that personnel of production facilities were not injured.

After stabilization of the security situation, company specialists will begin assessment of the consequences of the attack and restoration work.

Attacks on Naftogaz

On the night of May 19, the Russian forces attacked gas infrastructure facilities in the Chernihiv region. The company reported damage to critically important equipment.

A day earlier, Russian troops struck Naftogaz facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region with three ballistic missiles. Significant destruction and damage were recorded then.

Before that, the Russian army also attacked these facilities with drones. Among targets was the state-owned Ukrnafta gas station complex.

As a result of the strike, the gas station was destroyed, and two female employees were injured.

The company also showed the consequences of the attack and the destroyed gas station afterward.
