Russian forces struck several gas infrastructure facilities in the Chernihiv region on the morning of May 19. Critically important equipment was damaged, Naftogaz (Ukraine's state-owned oil and gas company) reports.

As the company noted, this is already the third consecutive day that Russian troops have attacked group facilities.

According to Naftogaz, drone strikes on production facilities destroyed critically important equipment.

"Personnel of one of the attacked facilities were evacuated in time. There were no casualties," the statement said.

All emergency services are currently working at the sites. Specialists are clarifying the scale of destruction and assessing the consequences of another attack.

Attacks on Naftogaz

On the evening of May 18, Russian troops struck Naftogaz facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region with three ballistic missiles. Significant damage and destruction were recorded at the time.

Before that, several Russian drones also attacked Naftogaz's critical infrastructure facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Among targets was the Ukrnafta gas station complex owned by the state.

As a result of that strike, the gas station was destroyed, and two female employees were injured.

The company also showed what a destroyed gas station looks like after a Russian attack.
