On the night of November 26, Russia attacked Ukraine with a record number of drones. According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, this became possible only because Russia continued circumventing the sanctions.

188 drones were launched across Ukraine that night. Unfortunately, the attack caused damage to critical infrastructure. This includes the difficult situation in Ternopil.

According to Zelenskyy, each drone launched today has 85 foreign components.

“This is almost 16,000 components, without which they would not fly. Such attacks are possible only because the criminal circumvents sanctions, Russia circumvents sanctions through various schemes. We are grateful to everyone in the world who blocks such supplies, but we need to work together more to make the sanctions work and force Russia to stop this war. We have to stop Russian aggression,” he adds.

Russian shelling of Ukraine

Since the beginning of Russia's large-scale invasion, Ukraine has been under constant Russian shelling, causing serious damage to infrastructure and significant civilian casualties. Russia attacks Ukraine with various weapons, including missile systems, artillery, attack drones, and aircraft.

On the night of November 26, Ukraine suffered another Russian attack. Russia used four Iskander-M missiles launched from the territory of Voronezh and Kursk regions, as well as 188 drones. Among them were Shahed drones and unmanned aerial vehicles of an unspecified type, which attacked from the directions of Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

Thanks to the coordinated work of the Ukrainian air defense forces, 76 Russian drones were destroyed.
