Russia strikes Ukraine with 2 missiles and 107 drones overnight: Air defense's work reported

On the night of April 24, Russians launched 2 ballistic missiles and 107 drones at Ukraine, about 70 of which were Shahed drones. Air defense forces shot down 96 drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
The attack began as early as 6 p.m. Kyiv time on April 23.
Russia launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov region of Russia, as well as 107 strike drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, along with other types of drones.
The drones were launched from the following locations: Shatalovo, Bryansk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian), as well as Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 70 of them were Shaheds.
The Ukrainian Air Force, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the Russian air attack.
According to preliminary data as of 8 a.m., Ukrainian air defense forces shot down or neutralized 96 Russian drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Ukrainian Air Force adds that 2 Russian ballistic missiles and 10 strike drones were recorded hitting 9 locations, as well as debris from downed drones falling in two locations.
Meanwhile, the Russian air attack continues, with several drones currently in Ukrainian airspace.
The Russian army attacked Odesa with strike drones last night.
Russian strikes damaged residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. Two people are reported dead and 15 wounded.
A merchant ship was also hit. A fire broke out on board.
