On the night of March 25, Russia attacked Ukraine with 147 strike drones from six directions. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the Russian drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

According to military reports, starting at 7 p.m. Kyiv time, on March 24, the Russians launched 147 attack drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as other types of drones, from the following directions: Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk of Russia; Hvardiiske, temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.

Over 80 of the drones launched were Shaheds.

Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m., Ukrainian air defense forces shot down or neutralized 121 Russian Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.

Hits by 24 strike drones were recorded at 18 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at 3 locations.

"Russian attack is ongoing; there are several Russian drones in Ukrainian airspace. Follow safety rules!" Ukrainian Air Force warns.

Russian strikes on Ukraine

On the night of March 25, Russian troops carried out another targeted attack on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure. An energy facility in the Chernihiv region came under Russian fire.

As a result, approximately 150,000 residents were left without power.

As a result of an evening Russian strike on the southern Odesa region, a residential building was damaged; one person was injured, and another is likely trapped under the rubble.

From March 23 until the evening of March 24, Russians attacked Ukraine with drones. Russia also used missiles to strike Ukraine last night.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, since the evening of March 23, Russians have launched nearly 1,000 attack drones at Ukraine.

During a daytime attack, Russia struck civilian cities in western Ukraine. In Lviv, residential buildings were hit. Meanwhile, in Ivano-Frankivsk, the Russians struck the city center, damaging 2 maternity hospitals.

As of 9 a.m. on June 24, Ukrainian defenders shot down 541 Russian drones.
