Russia strikes Ukraine with 141 drones overnight: Air defense's work reported

On the night of March 6, Russia attacked Ukraine with 141 strike drones from seven directions. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the Russian drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
According to the Ukrainian military, from 6 p.m. on March 5 to the morning of March 6, the Russians attacked with 141 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of strike drones from the directions of Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk of Russia, Hvardiiske, and Chauda of temporarily occupied Crimea.
About 100 of the drones launched were Shaheds.
Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m. Kyiv time, air defense forces shot down/suppressed 111 Russian Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
24 strike drones were recorded hitting 16 locations, as well as downed drones (debris) falling in one location.
"Russian attack continues, with several enemy drones in the airspace. Follow the safety rules!" warns the Ukrainian Air Force.
Russian strikes on Ukraine
On the night of March 6, Russians launched drone strikes on Kryvyi Rih. As a result of the Russian attacks, a residential building and an enterprise caught fire in the city.
On the night of March 5, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 155 drones from five directions. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down or suppressed 136 Russian drones.
Also, a Russian Shahed strike drone attacked a passenger train at the station in Mykolaiv. After the Russian strike, one of the cars was completely engulfed in a fierce fire, and a man was injured. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine showed footage of the aftermath of the Russian attack.
During the winter, Ukraine endured 14 massive combined Russian attacks. Over 700 missiles of various types and thousands of drones were launched across the country.
