During the winter, Russia carried out 14 massive combined attacks on Ukraine, firing over 700 missiles of various types, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, in December and January, the Russians carried out 7 massive strikes with various types of missiles and drones. In February, the intensity of Russian attacks doubled—Ukraine withstood seven more large-scale shellings.
Russian troops combined strikes with attack drones and various types of missiles in an attempt to complicate the air situation, overload the air defense system, and exhaust its resources.
December 2025
On December 6, Ukrainian Armed Forces Day, Russia launched one of the largest strikes since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, targeting 704 air targets, including 51 missiles.
Further Russian attacks on December 13, 23, and 27 were also characterized by extremely high loads — from nearly 500 to over 670 air targets.
January 2026
Intensive use of ballistic missiles was recorded. On January 9, the main strike was concentrated on the Kyiv region — 278 targets.

February 2026

Ukrainian Air Force emphasizes that Russia is systematically increasing the use of both standard ballistic missiles (Iskander-M) and missiles that hit their targets along a ballistic trajectory: Kinzhal, Zircon, Kh-22/32, S-300/S-400.
In total, Russia launched over 700 missiles of various types at Ukraine in 3 months.
Russian attack on Ukraine on March 2
Last night, Russians launched a massive drone strike on Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region. A factory was hit, causing several fires.
