Russian forces carried out a massive drone attack on Kryvyi Rih on the night of March 2. An enterprise was hit, after which several fires broke out, according to Telegram posts from the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Region Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, and the head of the city’s Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.

“The enemy struck Kryvyi Rih. An enterprise in the city was damaged. Several fires broke out there. Firefighters are eliminating the consequences. Preliminary reports indicate no people were injured,” the regional administration said at 06:00 Kyiv time.

A few hours earlier, Vilkul reported that the enemy was conducting a massive attack with Shahed drones on the city. At that time, at least 5 more drones were flying in the direction of Kryvyi Rih.

Attack on Kryvyi Rih

On the night of February 26, Russian forces carried out another combined strike on Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine. The enemy used both missiles and drones.

In particular, Kryvyi Rih came under heavy attack. As a result of the strike, about 10 residential buildings were damaged, with one building suffering severe damage.

“According to current information, about 10 residential buildings were damaged. One five-story building was seriously damaged — its roof was pierced. A kindergarten, a fire station, and administrative buildings were also damaged, and one car was burned while another was damaged,” local authorities reported.

It was also reported that on the night of January 8, Russian forces carried out another combined strike on Kryvyi Rih. The attack damaged 29 apartment buildings, up to 10 business and vehicle sites, and an infrastructure facility.
