Situation in Ukraine's Kryvyi Rih after Russian strike: Damage and casualties reported, footage

As a result of a combined strike by Russian forces on Kryvyi Rih, at least 17 people were injured, including children, according to Kryvyi Rih Defense Council head Oleksandr Vilkul on Telegram.

According to him, in the evening, the Russian forces carried out a combined strike on Kryvyi Rih. Iskander-M ballistic missiles hit a residential area.

"Currently, 17 people have been injured in the enemy attack, including three children and eight women. Fifteen of the wounded are hospitalized," Vilkul said.
He clarified that one man is in serious condition, another in critical condition, and the rest are in moderate condition. Doctors are providing them with the necessary care.
Emergency rescue operations are ongoing at the site of the attack, with all necessary services working on the scene.
The head of the city’s Defense Council noted that 29 apartment buildings were damaged in the attack, 10 of them very seriously. One building was almost completely destroyed. Up to 10 business facilities and vehicles were also damaged, and an infrastructure facility was hit as well.

The State Emergency Service reported that 23 people have now been injured, including six children.
Twenty-nine apartment buildings, 21 vehicles, and an administrative building were damaged. Emergency rescue operations are ongoing.
Power, water, and heating situation
Vilkul reported that 115,823 subscribers are currently without electricity. Half of the city is being supplied with water using generators. Four large boiler plants, which provide heating for about 1,400 buildings, are without power. By morning, heating is expected to be restored in 335 buildings.
A relief headquarters for residents is operating near the site of the strike. So far, 16 requests for material assistance have been submitted to the city.
Strike on Kryvyi Rih
The missile strike on Kryvyi Rih was reported around 5:00 p.m. Kyiv time. Some time later, Vilkul confirmed that the city had been hit by Iskander missiles.
Initially, five people were reported injured in the attack, but the number has been steadily increasing.
For several days, the Russian forces have been terrorizing the residents of Kryvyi Rih. On January 7, the city experienced one of the largest attacks since the start of the full-scale war.
