Russia strikes railway infrastructure in Ukraine's Mykolaiv: Casualties reported

On the morning of March 4, Russians attacked a passenger train car with drones in Mykolaiv, and a man was wounded, according to the MykVisti news agency and the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitalii Kim.

Initially, the correspondent reported a direct Russian strike on a passenger car. However, he later clarified that the car was empty and that the Shahed had fallen onto the tracks next to it.
As a result, a fire broke out in the car. The news agency also revealed photos from the scene.
The head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitalii Kim, confirmed the Russian attack.
According to him, the Russian strike damaged transport infrastructure. A fire broke out. A man suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized. All necessary services are working at the scene.
Mykolaiv mayor Oleksandr Senkevych says that local services are currently inspecting the residential sector. As of now, no damage to residential buildings has been found.
Vitalii Kim also criticizes Telegram channels that revealed the consequences of the Russian attack almost in real time. According to him, such actions can be regarded as aiding the enemy, and there will be a corresponding response.
An air raid alert was declared in the Mykolaiv district at 8:40 a.m. Kyv time.
At that time, the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration reported the Shahed strike drones approaching the city.
There is currently no information from Ukrainian Railways regarding the consequences of the Russian attack.
