Russia strikes Ukraine with 149 drones overnight: Air defense's work reported

On the night of March 1, Russia attacked Ukraine with 149 strike drones from five directions. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the Russian drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

According to the Ukrainian military, from 6 p.m. Kyiv time on March 3 to the morning of March 4, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 149 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of strike drones from the following directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk of Russia, and Hvardiiske of Crimea. About 100 of them were Shaheds.
Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m., Ukrainian air defense forces shot down/suppressed 129 Russian Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
19 Russian strike drones were recorded hitting 15 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at one location.
"Russian attack continues, with several Russian drones in the airspace. Follow the safety rules!" warns the Ukrainian Air Force.
Russian strikes on Ukraine
On the night of March 3, Russians terrorized Ukraine with attack drones again. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 127 of the 136 drones launched.
At the same time, 5 attack drones were recorded hitting three locations. In addition, debris from downed drones was recorded in three other locations.
In particular, Kharkiv was hit. In the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city, debris from a Russian drone damaged windows in apartment buildings and several cars.
In the Odesa region, port and transport infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of the Russian attack. A dry cargo warehouse and road containers were damaged, and windows in administrative buildings were broken.
