Russia strikes Ukraine's Svitlovodsk: People injured, enterprise and houses damaged

In the city of Svitlovodsk, Kirovohrad region, a Russian air attack last night, May 28, damaged an industrial enterprise and a large number of houses. 3 people were wounded in the Russian attack, according to the head of the Kirovohrad regional military administration, Andrii Raikovych.

"The fire has already been localized. As of now, we know about 3 injured people," said the head of the Kirovohrad regional military administration.
Later, he added that 2 of them were hospitalized.
In addition, 76 private houses and one nine-story residential building were also damaged in the city as a result of the Russian air attack.
"All relevant services are operational on the spot," added the head of the Kirovohrad regional military administration.
Svitlovodsk is located in the Oleksandriia district of the Kirovohrad region.
The main part of the city stands on the cliffs of Taburyshchanskyi Cape above the right bank of the Kremenchuk Reservoir, which stretches from the Kremenchuk HPP facilities to the large bay of the reservoir.
Currently, over 1,400 residents are without an electricity supply.
According to open sources, the population of Svitlovodsk is about 42,000 people.

As early as the evening of May 27, the Ukrainian Air Force recorded the launch of several groups of Russian attack drones towards Ukraine. The Shaheds threat remained throughout the night of May 28.
