Russia strikes Ukraine's Odesa region: Over 10,000 families left without power

Russian troops attacked the Odessa region with strike drones last night, September 2. As a result of the Russian strike, over 10,000 people are without electricity, according to Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
"The Odesa region is still dealing with the aftermath of the Russian attack: energy workers are working around the clock," Kiper said.
According to him, thanks to the coordinated efforts of energy workers over the past day, power has been restored to 15,400 families. In particular, after the transformer was put into operation, half of the city of Chornomorsk was restored, returning electricity to 13,000 subscribers.
"Unfortunately, the restoration work is quite complex and requires a significant amount of time due to the severity of the damage. Currently, 10,600 families remain temporarily without electricity. Specialists are making every effort to eliminate the consequences of the Russian strike as quickly as possible," added the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
