Russia strikes Ukraine's Nikopol with drones: Killed and injured reported, infrastructure damaged

Russian troops attacked Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, with a drone strike. As a result of the attack, a 63-year-old man was killed, says the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.
"A 63-year-old man was killed in Nikopol by a Russian strike. 2 more men were injured by a hit from an FPV drone. The 50-year-old wounded was hospitalized in a moderate condition. The 37-year-old victim will be treated on an outpatient basis," says the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
He also emphasizes that as a result of the Russian strikes, infrastructure, educational institutions, private houses, and outbuildings were damaged. In addition, the Russian army destroyed a car.
Russian strikes on Nikopol
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has been regularly attacking Nikopol and surrounding settlements.
Thus, on the night of June 2, Russian troops conducted a targeted attack on a rescue unit. After the medics arrived, Russia struck again. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the Russian attack on the rescue unit damaged windows, walls, and the entrance to the shelter where the specialists were staying.
Also in early May, Russian troops attacked the Nikopol district, resulting in casualties. Nikopol itself, as well as Pokrovsk, Chervonohryhorivka, Myrivka, and Marhanets communities, came under Russian fire.
