Russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones this morning, July 17. As a result, a fire broke out, and one person was injured, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhii Lysak.

"A 43-year-old woman was injured in Kryvyi Rih as a result of the Russian drone attack. She was provided with assistance on the spot," Lysak said.

According to him, the fire that broke out as a result of Russian drone strikes was extinguished by rescuers. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, psychologists worked at the site of the strike.

Tonight, July 17, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with drones from several directions.

Around midnight, explosions were heard in Dnipro and the city of Samar due to Russian drone attacks. Fires broke out in the city, businesses were damaged, and civilians were injured.

According to the regional administration, one person was killed and five others were injured in the regional center. Men aged 35, 37, 40, and 52 were hospitalized. 3 of them are in severe condition. A 70-year-old victim is being treated at home. In addition, several fires broke out in the city, and businesses were damaged by Russian strikes.

According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian strikes were carried out from 3 directions. Ukrainian air defenses shot down 36 Russian drones in the north and east of Ukraine. In addition, 5 drone simulators were lost. 23 Russian drones were also recorded hitting 5 locations.

Also, this morning, Russia launched a series of drone strikes on the Cherkasy region near Kaniv and on Kryvyi Rih.
