Russian troops struck one of the districts of Kharkiv this afternoon, July 25, with a guided aerial bomb, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

"Russian struck Kharkiv with guided aerial bomb," the mayor initially reported.

He later clarified that, according to preliminary information, this was about the Industrial district.

At around 11:36 a.m. Kyiv time, the mayor reported that there was one casualty as a result of the Russian strike.

"There is information about one casualty as a result of the Russian strike on the Industrial district," Terekhov reported.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of the launch of a Russian guided aerial bomb in the direction of Kharkiv. The threat was reported at 11:24 a.m. Kyiv time.

Russian strikes on Kharkiv

From the first days of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russians have launched combined strikes on Kharkiv.

Yesterday, on the afternoon of July 24, the Russians also struck a civilian enterprise and a high-rise building in the central part of Kharkiv with aerial bombs.

Initially, there were over 30 casualties, but their number grew rapidly. And according to the latest data, 42 casualties have been reported.

Among them are 6 children: 4 girls aged 28 days, 1, 10, and 17 years, and 2 boys aged 2 months and 17 years.
