Russia strikes Ukraine's Kharkiv and Dnipro: Casualties reported, 20+ homes damaged

Russian attack drones struck Kharkiv and Dnipro on the night of July 12. In both cities, strikes on civilian infrastructure were recorded, fires broke out at the sites, and there were casualties, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha, and the Ukrainian Air Force.
Russia struck Kharkiv with Shahed drones
In Kharkiv, during yet another Russian drone attack, strikes were recorded in several districts of the city. According to preliminary reports, one of the Russian drones struck a target in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
There was also a strike in the Kyivskyi district, where a fire broke out following the Russian attack. Authorities urged residents to remain cautious as Russian drones continued to operate in the city's airspace.
As a result of the nighttime Russian drone attack on Kharkiv, over 20 residential buildings were damaged in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
In the Kyivskyi district, a garage cooperative caught fire. 3 people sought medical attention.
According to reports, 2 residents were injured in the Shevchenkivskyi district, including a 16-year-old girl. Medical personnel provided the necessary assistance to all those affected.
In addition, Russian drone strikes were recorded in the Kyivskyi and Saltivskyi districts of the city. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties there.
Russia struck factory in Dnipro

After 3 a.m. Kyiv time, the Ukrainian Air Force detected Russian attack drones moving toward Kharkiv and Dnipro.
According to monitoring data, Russian drones approached Kharkiv from the north and northeast and were also moving toward Dnipro from the northwest.
At around 3:14 a.m., residents of both cities reported a series of explosions almost simultaneously, after which local authorities confirmed strikes on civilian infrastructure.
The death toll from the Russian strike on Sumy continues to rise. A man who suffered severe injuries during the Russian guided aerial bomb attack on July 11 died in the hospital. Thus, the death toll from the attack has risen to 5.
