The renowned House of Organ and Chamber Music in Dnipro was damaged during another Russian attack on the night of June 15, according to Mykola Lukashuk, chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council.

Lukashuk clarifies that this instrument was installed in the hall of the House of Organ and Chamber Music back in 1985.

Moreover, it was manufactured specifically for this purpose by the German company Sauer.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council also reports that the damaged organ had over 2,000 pipes and dozens of stops, and its unique sound filled concert halls for decades and was well known to many generations of Dnipro residents.

Anton Cherneta, manager and artistic director of the Dnipro House of Organ and Chamber Music, also shared the aftermath of the Russian attack on his Instagram.

In the footage, it is clear that the building has been significantly damaged.

"As a result of the Russian rocket attack on the city of Dnipro at around 2 a.m., the House of Organ and Chamber Music, an architectural landmark of national significance, sustained significant damage," the video's author says.

He notes that everything that could be destroyed has been destroyed.

"Windows, doors... The organ was damaged. And it was damaged very badly," Cherneta states.

The area around the building has also been destroyed, he says.

"Everything that could be shattered by rocket debris has been shattered... Unfortunately, the situation is critical," says the manager and artistic director of the House of Organ and Chamber Music.

Will House of Organ Music be able to continue operating?

The chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council says that due to extensive damage, the institution will not yet be able to operate as usual and hold concerts.

"The organ was severely damaged. It will be impossible to play it at this time," Cherneta confirms.

He clarifies that overall, the situation is horrific.

"This is what Russian terror looks like in real life: a damaged organ, the concert hall shut down, yet another loss for the city," Lukashuk concludes.

On the night of June 15, the Russian army carried out another massive combined attack on Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine.

In Sumy, a Russian drone struck the balcony of a high-rise building; in Kharkiv, Russian forces targeted rescue workers. Ukrainian Railways warned passengers about delays on a number of trains.
