Russia strikes Ukraine's Cherkasy: Buildings damaged, wounded reported

Russian troops attacked Cherkasy with strike drones overnight. As a result of the Russian strikes, part of the city is without power, and there are casualties, according to the head of the Cherkasy regional military administration, Ihor Taburets.
"It was a difficult night for our Cherkasy region. Russia launched a massive attack on the regional center with strike drones," Taburets says.
According to him, 6 people have sought medical help so far. Fortunately, none of them is in severe condition.
"The Russians targeted critical infrastructure, leaving part of the city without power. Energy workers are continuing their work," he adds.
The drones' impact damaged residential infrastructure in several locations, including at least a dozen private homes. The assessment is ongoing.
"Windows and roofs were broken in houses, and there were fires. Windows were also broken in a sports complex. Cars were damaged. All necessary services are working," the head of the Cherkasy regional military administration sums up.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, over 60 rescuers and 20 pieces of equipment worked at the sites of the destruction.

Russian troops attacked many regions with strike drones tonight, mainly trying to target critical infrastructure.
As a result of the Russian strike in the Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy, civilian infrastructure was damaged. Windows were broken in residential and non-residential buildings. There are no preliminary reports of casualties, but at least one person was injured.
In the Odesa region, Russian drones damaged windows in a 9-story residential building and an educational institution. 7 people are known to have been injured. 6 people were treated at the scene, and one person was hospitalized in moderate condition.
In Kryvyi Rih, residential areas were also hit, resulting in a fire. Two people were injured—a 58-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman.
In the Mykolaiv region, Russia attacked energy infrastructure at night, resulting in power outages in settlements in the Voznesensk and Mykolaiv districts.
