Russia strikes residential sector in Kharkiv with drone
On the morning of Thursday, January 30, the Russian army launched a drone strike on the city of Kharkiv. The consequences of the strike are currently being clarified, according to the city's mayor, Ihor Terekhov.
“Russia struck Kharkiv. We have preliminary information about the hit of a Molniya drone on the private sector in the Kholodnohirskyi district. Details are being clarified,” Terekhov wrote.
As of 10:20 a.m. Kyiv time, no injuries or damage were reported.
At 10:25 a.m. Kyiv time, Terekhov clarified that Russia struck a private house. The windows were smashed and the fence was damaged. There is no information on injuries and deaths.
At 11 a.m. Kyiv time, Terekhov reported one victim of the drone attack.
“There is one victim - an acute stress reaction,” he wrote.
On the night of January 28, explosions were heard in Kharkiv during a Russian drone attack. Then Terekhov reported a Russian strike on the territory of a civilian enterprise in the Novobavarskyi district. 4 civilians were injured as a result of the Russian strikes.

The use of the Molniya for strikes on Kharkiv became known relatively recently. The first such attack took place on November 12.
According to aviation expert Valerii Romanenko, the Molniya attack drone was assembled from extremely primitive parts. The total cost of one such drone is estimated at $300.
