Russia strikes rescuers in Kostiantynivka: Ukraine shows photos of aftermath

Today, August 26, Russian forces attacked a team of rescuers in Kostiantynivka, the Donetsk region. Due to the shelling, a building and a vehicle were damaged, the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine reports.
“Russian forces struck the city’s fire and rescue unit. The blast wave damaged the garage doors, roof, shattered windows, destroyed protective window panels, and damaged doors,” the SES stated.
As a result, the fire truck was damaged. Fortunately, no personnel were injured.
Recently, Kostiantynivka has been subjected to daily enemy attacks. Due to its proximity to the front line, the city has repeatedly become a target of Russian shelling, including aerial bombs, missiles, and strike drones.
On August 22, Russian forces carried out a series of strikes on the city, causing significant destruction. The enemy used aerial bombs and strike drones for the attack.
In addition, on August 20, Russians launched missile strikes on the city’s market. Three people were killed and another four were injured in that attack.
A day earlier, on August 19, Russian troops carried out two powerful airstrikes on the city. One of the strikes hit directly into the entrance of a residential building, as a result, there were possible victims under the rubble.
