On the afternoon of August 20, Russian forces launched missile strikes on a market in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. Three people were killed and four others were wounded, according to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.

"At least three people were killed and four wounded as a result of strikes on Kostiantynivka. The Russians fired eight Smerch rockets at the town, deliberately targeting the market," Filashkin said.

The attack also damaged 15 market stalls, eight private houses, six apartment buildings, a shop, two cars, and a power line.

"Once again, I stress: staying in the Donetsk region is dangerous! The Russians deliberately strike in ways intended to kill and maim as many civilians as possible. Do not put yourself at risk - evacuate in time!" the head of the Regional Military Administration emphasized.
