On the afternoon of July 9, Russian forces launched an airstrike on Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk region. Three people were killed and one more was injured as a result, according to the State Emergency Service (SES).

According to the State Emergency Service (SES), the airstrike damaged 21 private homes and a piece of critical infrastructure.

A single-story administrative building was also destroyed. Two men were killed under the rubble, and rescue workers recovered their bodies.

More than 20 tons of debris were cleared during the rescue operation.

In total, three people were killed and one was injured.

The SES also extinguished fires in four residential buildings, covering a total area of 270 square meters. Response operations have been completed.

Donetsk region strike

Earlier today, July 9, around 10:00 AM Kyiv time, Russian forces launched attacks on the Donetsk region using drones and high-explosive aerial bombs (FABs). Eight people were killed in the strikes.

In addition, Russian troops carried out a massive FPV drone attack on Dobropillia in the Donetsk region for the first time. The drones targeted the city center directly, causing destruction and injuring civilians.
