Kostiantynivka suffered two Russian air strikes in one day. One of them hit the entrance to a residential building, and people are searching for survivors under the rubble, according to the head of the Kostiantynivka city military administration, Serhii Horbunov.

On Tuesday, August 19, Russians launched 2 powerful air strikes on the city of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region.

At 10:09 a.m. Kyiv time, Russia launched FAB-250 aerial bombs, dropping 4 munitions on residential areas. As a result of the Russian strike, 5 multi-story buildings were damaged. One person was injured. Another person may still be trapped under the rubble of a multi-story building.

On the same day, Russia attacked the city again at around 10:45 p.m. Russian aircraft struck Kostiantynivka again with FAB-250 aerial bombs. The consequences of the second Russian attack are even more devastating: 5 high-rise buildings and four private houses, a hospital, 2 shops, and a café were damaged.

Russian precision strike on the entrance of one of the apartment buildings was recorded. As a result of the explosion, one more person was injured. In addition, at least 3 civilians may be under the rubble.

Local services and rescuers continue to clear the rubble and determine the exact consequences of the double Russian attack on the city.

Donetsk region under constant Russian fire

The Russian army continues its devastating strikes on settlements in the Donetsk region.

On July 9, Russia launched an air strike on Kostiantynivka. 3 people were killed and one more was wounded in the Russian attack. The Russian strike destroyed a one-story administrative building. Two men died under the rubble, and their bodies were recovered by rescuers during the clearing of more than 20 tons of debris.

On August 11, explosions were heard in the town of Bilozerka in the Pokrovsk district. Russian FAB-250 aerial bombs with UMPC hit a residential area. A 43-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were killed in their homes.

Russians launched another strike on the Donetsk region on August 18. At around 9 p.m., 2 Russian Iskander-M missiles hit the industrial zone of Sloviansk, in the Lisnyi microdistrict. A civilian woman was wounded in the Russian attack.
