Russian forces carried out a combined strike on civilian infrastructure in the Odesa region, Ukraine, this afternoon, August 22. The attack damaged homes and a business and left people injured, according to Regional Military Administration chief Oleh Kiper.

The military administration head says three people were injured in Russia's attack, including a minor child.

"A private home and a summer house were damaged. Unfortunately, a woman and a 16-year-old girl were injured. In addition, an agricultural enterprise came under attack, damaging three grain silos. Another person was injured," his statement said.

All relevant services are currently working at the strike sites, and the injured are receiving the necessary assistance.

Other Russian attacks

As previously reported, Russian forces also targeted the Odesa region overnight on August 22. The strikes damaged the Odesa railway, including the Rozdilna railway station.

Also, Russian forces caused significant damage to energy facilities in the region that night. The company said restoring them would take time.
