The Russian attack overnight on August 22 caused significant damage to DTEK energy facilities in the Odesa region, and their restoration will take time.

"As soon as the energy workers received permission from the military and rescuers, they immediately began emergency restoration work," the statement said.

DTEK said the damage to the energy facilities was significant. It will take time to restore the equipment to working condition.

The consequences of the attack may cause disruptions to the operation of critical infrastructure facilities.

Energy workers continue to work to restore the damaged facilities.

As previously reported, the Russian attack overnight on August 22 also damaged the Odesa railway. The train station at Rozdilna station was damaged.

Russian forces also attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles overnight. A fire broke out in the Darnytsia district, where a warehouse caught fire, leaving one person dead and several others injured.
