Russian forces struck Kramatorsk in Donetsk region on the evening of Friday, October 10, according to the press service of the Kramatorsk City Council.

"From 23:06 to 23:11, using two Geran-2 drones, Russian forces carried out a strike on a school," the statement said.

It has been reported that two Geran-2 drones (an Iranian-made kamikaze drone variant) hit the building of Stepana Chubenka Secondary School No. 12.

As a result of the attack, the school building suffered significant damage. This is not the first time Russian forces have deliberately targeted educational institutions in the Kramatorsk community.

Such strikes on schools, kindergartens, and other educational facilities constitute a serious violation of international humanitarian law and are classified as war crimes, as civilian educational institutions have no connection to military infrastructure.

Recovery and cleanup efforts are currently underway at the site of the strike.

Nearby residential buildings were also damaged.
