Russia strikes Kharkiv region with MLRS: 1 killed, 8 injured
Today, on August 22, Russians shelled Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv region. Russian attack killed one person and injured eight others, according to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to law enforcement, Russia attacked Bohodukhiv at around 3:30 p.m. A 56-year-old man who was in the garden near his home during the Russian shelling was killed. He would have turned 57 tomorrow.
"8 more people were injured, including a 15-year-old boy. The minor was hospitalized with a shrapnel wound to his left arm," the prosecutor's office says.
Russian attack damaged multi-story buildings and private houses, outbuildings, premises of two civilian enterprises, and cars. A 3-hectare fire also broke out near the village of Semeniv Yar and is still being extinguished.
Law enforcement agencies have launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder.

Yesterday, August 21, Russia shelled the village of Kozacha Lopan. The attack damaged the village council building, with people trapped under the rubble.
