Russian occupants shelled the village of Kozacha Lopan in the Kharkiv region. People are under the rubble, according to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

According to him, at about 12:25 p.m., Russia attacked the village of Kozacha Lopan of the Derhachiv community.

The Russian shelling damaged the building of the village council. According to preliminary information, three people are trapped under the rubble.

"All relevant services are working at the scene. There is a threat of repeated attacks," emphasizes Syniehubov.

Kozacha Lopan is located near the border with Russia. The distance to the border with Russia is over 10 kilometers. The village was occupied by Russian troops at the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion and liberated by the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the spring of 2022.

Russian shelling of Ukraine

Overnight and in the morning, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones. A total of 72 Russian targets were launched, including two ballistic missiles, a Kh-59 aircraft missile, and 69 kamikaze drones.

The Ukrainian Air Defense Forces destroyed 51 Russian air targets, guided missiles, and 50 Shaheds. Ukrainian air defense was operating in 14 regions of Ukraine.

The Russian occupiers launched up to a dozen drones at Kyiv and destroyed them on the outskirts of the capital. The wreckage of Russian drones fell in the Kyiv region. The Russian attack damaged a building and power lines, and a fire broke out.
