Russia strikes energy facility in Kirovohrad region overnight
On the night of April 2, Russians attacked some regions of Ukraine with drones. A hit was recorded on an energy facility in the Kirovohrad region.
Sources were: the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak, the head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration Andrii Raikovych, and the Southern Defense Forces.
The Air Force of Southern Ukraine reported that the Russians attacked the energy infrastructure of the Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions at night.
"At night, the enemy once again sent kamikaze drones of the Shahed-131/136 type from the south. This time, the enemy targeted the energy infrastructure of Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad oblasts," the defenders say.
Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said that a fire station in Dnipro was damaged due to a Russian Shahed attack.
"Two fires started in the regional center due to falling debris, which were quickly extinguished. A two-story building and a fire station were damaged," says Lysak.
According to Lysak, the Russian drones also hit a power line in Kryvyi Rih.
"As a result of the evening attack on Kryvyi Rih, windows in three nine-story buildings were smashed. A car was damaged. A high-voltage power line was hit," Lysak writes.
A woman was injured in the attack. She was treated by medics.
"The injured woman was provided with the necessary medical care. She will be treated at home," Lysak says.
Andrii Raikovych, head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, says that Russian troops damaged an energy infrastructure facility in the region. As a result, a fire broke out.
"During another enemy drone attack in the Kirovohrad region, an energy facility was damaged. The fire was quickly localized. No information on casualties has been received so far," says Raikovych.
Southern Ukraine's Defense Forces confirmed the damage to the power facility
"An energy infrastructure facility was damaged during the attack in Kirovograd region. A fire broke out and was quickly extinguished by firefighters. No people were injured. The consequences of the damage are being investigated," the Southern Defense Forces writes.

At night, the Ukrainian Air Force warned residents of the Kherson and Dnipro regions about the threat of a Shahedi attack.
Explosions were heard in Dnipro. Local Telegram channels reported on the work of air defense.
