Russia strikes Dnipro with drones: Casualties reported, infrastructure damaged

Last night, Russia massively attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones. Russian strike damaged infrastructure, wounded 2 civilians and injured, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

A 52-year-old woman sustained shrapnel wounds. She is in a hospital in moderate condition.
“The infrastructure in Samarivskyi district is damaged. There is also a fire there. In addition, a car was destroyed and several others were damaged. An apartment building, administrative building, and outbuildings were also damaged. We continue to clarify the consequences,” Lysak wrote.
In addition, Russia attacked Nikopol district with kamikaze drones and heavy artillery. Marhanetska, Pokrovska and Myrivska communities suffered.
“A 64-year-old woman was injured. She was hospitalized. An outbuilding was damaged,” added Lysak.
High-rise buildings damaged
Later, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, clarified that high-rise buildings in Dnipro were damaged by Russian drone attack.
“At least 100 windows were smashed. Garages also caught fire. The area is being inspected,” he said.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration added that 11 Russian drones were destroyed by Ukrainian air defense forces and means in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Russian drone attack
In the evening and throughout the night, Russians attacked Ukraine on a large scale with Shahed-type kamikaze drones. The drones were launched in several waves from the northeast, east, and south.
In particular, Russian drones attacked many settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Fires broke out at the site of the falling debris and landings.
