Russia strikes Chernihiv region's border town: Wounded reported
On the morning of Tuesday, January 7, the Russian army fired at the border of Chernihiv region. The town of Semenivka came under Russian fire, according to the Chernihiv Regional State Administration.
This morning Russia fired several times at Semenivka. As a result of the Russian shelling, 3 people were wounded, 2 of them were hospitalized. There are destructions.
“All the details will be later,” wrote the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Viacheslav Chaus.
He also warned of the threat of repeated Russian shelling.
Chaus clarified at 11:05 a.m. Kyiv time that Semenivka was under Russian fire all night. Russia was shooting from artillery. In particular, residential buildings caught fire on the evening of January 6.
And on the morning of January 7, Russia hit civilian infrastructure. An enterprise was damaged. Russian shelling also damaged the buildings and homes of residents.
