Russia spreads fake claim that Ukraine is provoking Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict - Ukrainian intel

Russia is launching an information operation to worsen Ukraine's relations with Azerbaijan and Armenia. A fake story is circulating in Armenia about Ukraine attempting to provoke a conflict, according to the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
A fake story is circulating in the Armenian information space, accusing the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine of allegedly trying to initiate or facilitate an armed conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
This disinformation is actively spreading through Telegram channels, claiming that a new war between the two countries would force Russia to open a "second front," which allegedly would benefit Ukraine.
The basis for this information attack is a fake report, supposedly from the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, addressed to the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Ivan Havrylyuk.
The document contains numerous obvious errors, such as "Yivan" instead of "Ivan" and "SDR" instead of "EDRPOU," indicating its inauthenticity. Additionally, the document does not meet any official formatting requirements for Ukrainian documents.
This information operation is part of a campaign aimed at discrediting Ukraine internationally and worsening relations between Ukraine, Armenia, and Azerbaijan.
"The purpose of this information operation is to discredit Ukraine and worsen Ukrainian-Armenian and Ukrainian-Azerbaijani relations, which primarily benefits the aggressor state, Russia," the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine notes.
It is worth recalling that Russia has been repeatedly spreading misinformation about an alleged breach of the Ukrainian border in the Sumy region, but the Defense Forces have successfully held their positions and are prepared for any potential attempts by enemy reconnaissance-diversion groups to infiltrate.
Additionally, Russia has spread another fake story about the supposed mistreatment of mobilized Ukrainian soldiers. However, verification has not confirmed the authenticity of the published footage.
