During the so-called energy truce, the Russian army shifted its attacks to logistics, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"There were no strikes on energy facilities last night, but yesterday afternoon our energy infrastructure in several regions was hit. We are now observing a shift by the Russian army toward strikes on logistics," the President says.
Zelenskyy also notes that Russian drone attacks on residential areas are continuing.
In particular, in Zaporizhzhia, Russian Shahed drones struck one of the city's districts, and FPV drones have been striking Kherson and Nikopol almost around the clock.
"The situation remains difficult in the border areas of the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions," the head of state adds.
Energy truce
On Thursday, US President Donald Trump said that he personally appealed to Vladimir Putin to refrain from striking Kyiv and many other cities for a whole week, to which Putin allegedly agreed.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Trump for the initiative and stressed that such steps contribute to real progress towards ending the war.
The Kremlin confirmed Russia's agreement to an energy truce, but said it would only last until February 1.
