Russia shells Ukraine's Kharkiv region: 5 people wounded, including children

Russian forces fired at a residential area in the village of Zolochiv in the Kharkiv region with multiple launch rocket systems. Three of the five injured are children, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
2 elderly women and 3 children were injured in the shelling.

Among the injured are 2 boys aged 13 and 16 and a 14-year-old girl. All five received necessary medical care on site.

8 private homes were damaged by the Russian shelling. A garage also caught fire, and rescue workers quickly extinguished the blaze.
The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration provided an update on the condition of the injured children.
"A 13-year-old boy has abrasions and an acute stress reaction; a 14-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy experienced severe stress. A 72-year-old woman also had a stress reaction. Medical personnel provided all necessary assistance," the statement says.
